The photographs featured in French artist and photographer Sophie Delaporte’s latest body of work, Postmodern Mysteries, were originally conceived as part of a longterm and enduring collaboration with design company Astier de Villatte (who are, in addition, the principal models). The gilded-edge book includes an essay by one of Delaporte’s earliest champions: photography historian and critic Vicki Goldberg.
